Don't Man-Bag the Issue: purse, pouch, clutch-like or shoulder bag?

Man-Bag Image for Discusison about Shoulder Bags for Men
The conventional male wallet seems to be bygone, giving way to handheld pouches and things that carry stuff and look like purses! Just the other day, I was at a mall, keenly observing the sea of people that surrounded me. I was pleasantly surprised to find that most guys were carrying these smallish zipper entities that contained their cash and cards. Most of them snugly fitted into one hand, leaving the fingers free to tend to other needs.

Image of History of Humorous Man-Bag Situation seen in FRIENDS
The new combinations ruling male wardrobe choices seem to be a smartphone in the front pockets of trousers or lowers and a hopefully-manly looking pouch in one hand along with unavoidables like car keys. Does not make sense to carry your compact laptops or full-sized tablets everywhere. If you do, a bigger sling or should bag should be the choice. Carrying everything in your hands as if you have been dumped by your landlord isn’t the wisest choice.

P-Cal Value: More to Protein Powder Gibberish, Fitness Bloggers are Making Us Believe!

Funny Image People Desperate for Protein Supplements PCAL
It seems like that before the advent of penetrative advertising and lifestyle bloggers, the world was hitting the gym without a clue about their diet. This is what latest headlines from the world of fitness gurus seems to convey. Now, there is another label jargon that they say has been there for some time but none of us uneducated mortals has been reading it right. This is about P-Cal ratio or the P/Cal figure or PCAL value. Nothing too scientific unless you have been a high-school struggler. This is basically the amount of protein you are getting at the cost of consuming calories. So, if you have a higher P Cal number, you are getting more protein for the calories consumed.

More About Colored Psychology, How Colors Communicate!

Before you read ahead, please take a minute to click this link to understand the context and overall continuity of this discussion: Click Here! Now, moving ahead - Colors can have many interpretations of different cultural landscapes. Different parts of the world, different communities interpret colours in shockingly different ways.

If the human psyche and color effect experts are to be believed, all colours communicate but in a different, individual and hard-to-decipher way:

Discussions Inspired by the Upcoming 2018 Holi Festival

Pic of White Lion from Blog about Color Psychology, Human BehaviorI was just reading about how the Tomatina festival and Holi in India are somewhat similar. The difference is actually hue but largely, there is a penchant for colours that are bright and happy. There is an overdose of reds and yellows. This got me thinking about colour psychology, colour patterns, colors affecting our opinions and how colors say a lot about our personality. I had covered something similar when I blogged about what red says about you as a person and the basics of colour psychology – you can find that discussion here – Colored Discussions. Each of these small discussions is after Googling for more matter on the subject. Did not take the pain of doing a lot of Googling, but did jot down some good references and am sharing my opinion:

Daily Vitamins & Enzyme Toothpaste: Am I guilty of dumping too much in my body?

Funng Dog Picture - Image of Hypochondriac Canine Tooth Care
As a society that is struggling to sustain natural flavors and nutrition in its daily consumption, there is a big question about the use of supplementing with multi-vitamins. The jury seems divided. Most physicians will say there is no harm in using these over-the-counter pills since they don’t pose any harm. The other half says that we are dumping too much into our body, not realizing how much is actually useful. The argument just seems to go on and on. There is a strong verdict that most of the multi-vitamins we consume are not absorbed by our body. Now, does that mean we should double our dosage or simply dump this habit altogether? My viewpoint is that there is no guarantee to clean the food chain and restore its former purity. We are caught in a lifestyle that leaves little room for looking after our health. If 30 minutes of exercising and some multi-vitamins can give us the peace of mind of having made the effort to be healthier, then why not take the chance?

Walking Wellness: Morning Steps for Sustaining Fitness [Exit: Gymming]

Dog Humor - Canine Walking Images in Outfits
The Background: It has been a strange, though somewhat lovable, affair with morning walk. Honestly, walking on empty roads or green paths hosting the morning, fitness-curious folks wasn’t my first choice. I have always been the squats-deadlift-shoulder press sort of person. Walking seemed too humble, too gentle and perhaps, ineffective. However, I was naive to think so. Rather than Moha or my colleagues helping me understand this truth, it was Life. Throughout 2016-17, I managed to maintain some degree of weight training. The onus was always on getting bigger. Am that kind of a guy – your shoulders should be thick like boulders – squat deep, to the extent that it hurts. The idea of walking seemed to gentle, to innocent and too elderly to make a difference. But I was trying not to get sucked into the gym versus morning walk farce.

Uncluttering to Gain Composure: Is it really so simple?

Minimalism & De-cluttering Helps |
Gain Better Mental Health
I had read about this many times but never took the initiative to actually try it. Cluttered surroundings, filled with things we might need and usually never need, is the source of much anxiety. I have discovered this rather late in my life, realizing that my desk, from where I am blogging right now, is totally clobbered. It is filled with things that I usually don’t need. They continue to occupy more space but serve very little purpose. I am prone to getting anxious without an accurate reason. Sometimes, the feeling just overcomes me in the most unexplained manner.

Colored Conversations by a Monotone Guy: What Red says about YOU & Color Psychology

Funny Pic of Pig Wearing Red Shoes from Lifestyle Blog on Blogger
Am asking this purely from an aesthetic perspective – when you wear red or see people around you in Christmas-inspired red apparel and accessories, what is the overall feeling like? For me, it can be slightly overwhelming, particularly when people don't accessorize smartly and red is mated with equally happy and bright colors like yellow and pink. The fashionability of the attire is lost if red is dragged too much, an overdose running into the socks, footwear, scarves and headgear. For me, red has been about passion, about the ability to wear a bolder color and carry it well. Not many people can do this and I can spot people struggling with their red look for the day in a moment.

Mixing-up Things: My Tryst with the Cereal Bowl

Dog Humor - Breakfast Blog Eating Cereal
It has been more than 2 weeks now and I have been true to the cause of eating healthier, ensuring I get more nutrition and lesser unwanted calories. My daily bowl of cereal plays a major role in it. As a habit, I cannot resist the temptation of trying different combinations in anything that I consume regularly. My daily bowl is transforming into a healthy habit. I get more than the daily, recommended dose of essential micro and macro-nutrients apart from some trace minerals found only in dried fruits. Believe me, apart from the numerous ways I am sharing below to increase your cereal intake, there are so many weird, outright strange facts about corn flakes that you seriously wonder how cereal became that BIG across the world!

Two Massagers & A Reasonably Good Guy

Small Massager Picture in Lifestyle Blog
The tiny one with a cable, definitely Chinese: I found this red-coloured, funny looking massager at an electronics store. At first, it looked like one of the many Chinese electronic items that have flooded the global market. However, I was ready to take the risk, hoping that it will last for at least two weeks or so. It has been almost a month and despite some very rough handling and long bouts of massaging my head and thighs, this device has not surrendered. It does need a regular meal of three AAA batteries.

Ranbir Kapoor: Not Falling Prey to the Kapoor [Get-Fat] Heritage?

Image Made Using Canva about Fitness
Being a Kapoor myself, I cannot help but smile every time people talk about the Kapoor Khandaan, and more particularly, about the recent, most talked-about entrant, Ranbir Kapoor. However, I have one grudge against the guy – he just doesn’t seem to eat right. What else could be making him look so under-weight, almost malnutritioned? It is against the Kapoor legacy not to eat, actually not to overeat, have a double chin and puffy cheeks. On a more serious note, I believe that Ranbir Kapoor looked much better when he made his debut. He was carrying some serious muscle mass and looked younger, fresher and more like a leading actor. Right now, just like his movie career, Ranbir's body seems confused. There is a definite inclination towards being lean but sometimes, this silhouette, does not justify the role.

Valentine's Day Thoughts: Proposing with an emphasis on making it big?

Funny Pug in Costume on Valentine's Day February 14th
It is February 14 in 2018 and it seems the Valentine Fever is not as contagious as it has been over the years. Also, found one of my oldest online journals regarding proposing to a girl. Read this and let me know what do you think?

Just read this in the daily today [Feb 14, 2014] – people are booking entire movie halls, screening of new releases at premium rates to get their proposal published on the big screen. It seems that the age of getting the proposal printed on hoardings or placing a hidden Hallmark card popping the big question is quite passe. The emphasis now seems to be on creating a bigger impact, making it a memorable moment and money is not the primary consideration.

Easy Fixes: Maybe You Need More Enzymes

Seems like yesterday when I tried Digiplex tablets for the first time - an ageing med that not many people know about and those who do, usually buy it for their grand-dads. Now, after many years of playing around with enzymes, I can confidently say that I can manage them with amazing accuracy!

Digestive Complex Tablets are Easy to Find

Here, I talk about some of the everyday health issues like recurring phases of indigestion. Contaminated environments are producing compromised foods and we don’t have too many options on the horizon. However, we can ensure that we digest better and extract the maximum nutrition from our daily meals. Peek into my experience of dealing with digestion-related issues without going overboard with medications…From the moment food enters our mouth to the phase where it is digested in the intestines, the body uses enzymes for processing food.

Muscle Gain and Testosterone: Is the Connect Real? Plus, real-life Supplementation Insights

Image for Testosterone Supplements - the DiscussionI have had this question pricking me for a long time. Most of the online reviews I read about bodybuilding or exercising with religious passion talk about how Testosterone is vital for gaining muscle mass, i.e. men and women!! Some blogs go on to preach that female bodybuilders and athletes use Testosterone supplementation to gain chiselled physiques. I recall getting my Testosterone levels checked once, about two years back. The results were not shocking, i.e. I was just beyond the mid-range, so I am neither deficient nor loaded with Testosterone. Does this mean I have an average chance to gain muscle? Are my hormones controlling the degree of gym gains I make?? I have felt the androgenic and boosting results of taking light testosterone supplements.

Confession Time – Updated on February 13th, 2018

Guilty Dog Pic | Confessions at a DIY Lifestyle Blog
While driving to the office today, I heard this discussion on one of the FM channels – apparently, there is a video clip of a girl being misbehaved with that is grabbing attention across Delhi. I have not seen the clip and don't want to – honestly, is there anything shocking about it? From what I have seen, people in the city are not ready to take up the cause of watching out for each other. The confession is about me too not intervening when the moment called for it. This was somewhere in 2005 – 06. I had just boarded the public transport bus and a seemingly drunk guy was arguing with a lady. There were about 14 – 15 more passengers aboard but none of us intervened when things got more graphic, the altercation escalated into something I hadn’t expected at all. I confess to being a coward at that moment, not standing up for a lady who was obviously the victim there. The conductor at that time takes the cake for re-assuring that people in the city just don't bother to help anyone, his words being “…jab dikh gaya thaa kee yeh aadmee ney pee rakhee hai toh alag baith jaatee”.

Weirdness about the Japanese Culture Just Got Deeper!

Funny Pic of Raccon HidingI am managing a team of content writers, having started as a content writer myself, now at a managerial bandwidth. We get all sorts of projects, varying from blogging to writing product descriptions. The latter is our biggest money-maker since the online world is the only ecosystem that is thriving these days...yes, the natural ecosystem that surrounds us is dying slowly! These days, we have a project that is about a series of adult lifestyle toys. Not-so-strangely, nearly all of these products have a massive following in Japan.

Parkinson’s: When Someone in Your Family Has It

Animated Image of Parkinsonian Monster
Yes, it is a serious health condition and there are no cures for it but believe me living with a family member with Parkinson’s is possible. I am not someone who preaches a lot of stuff. I have learned my lessons the hard way. I have a long history of trial and error, repeating the mistakes and eventually realizing what actually works. My mother has Parkinson’s for the last three years. Yes, at times, things get too difficult, particularly now that she has suffered a hip fracture. However, I have channeled my energy towards helping her recover and manage her condition rather than waste time searching for answers like “WHY God did this to us?”…what has happened cannot be undone, so I might as well get on with it. Like some folks say-Life Happens!!

Deadlifts: No Escaping These for All Round Strength and Endurance

Image of Deadlifting Posture from Lifestyle Blog on Blogger
Deadlifts are Best for Overall Gains | #LoveLegDay
Deadlift is often called an Old World exercise that can take its toll on the knees and the back. However, I believe that it is among the safest and the most effective ways to add some serious bulk. You just cannot gain all-round, comprehensive fitness without a fully-body workout. Deadlifts are among the best options in this niche along with weighted squats and bench pressing, though benching is more about the pectorals and arms rather than the entire upper body. I consider deadlifts to be the most critical exercise for the lower body and I mean the entire lower body, including lower back, glutes and hams.

Yes, I am slightly biased towards Homeopathy

Funny Cat Pic Choosing Prescription Drugs Over Homeopathy
Not all prescription drugs harm your body
My friend asks, “You actually believe those small sugar pills?” I can make out the disdain on his face. It is obvious that he has no faith in Homeopathy and like many people around me, he thinks that this entire niche of alternative medicine is just an eyewash. However, I have a slightly different perspective and I have my reasons. I am not someone who believes in things preached by others. I need some reason, proof, and logic, no matter how hard to get or twisted it is. I have ventured into many streams of alternative healthcare too and despite many of these non-mainstream treatment options now becoming popular, I could never feel convinced because the attending specialist did not look specialized enough, the technicians did not look technically proficient and the therapy seemed rather threatening! I had to try more and en route found that Homeopathy had some options, more options that made sense.

Don’t Plan Life, Just a Week Can Do!

Funny Dog Pic Planning Life, Planning the Day
Plan Shorter. Plan Simpler. Plan the Doable
I have come across lots of blogs about planning your life. However, my success with this strategy is abysmally low. I am not saying that planning your life is a bad choice but to me, it seems like something that consumes too much time and energy and doesn’t serve the purpose. Some people say that they live in the moment. Some choose to structure their entire life in blocks of what they should do and achieve. I believe that the better approach is somewhere in between—planning your life but not more than a week ahead. I had been a chronic life planner all along. Even when I was in school, I was apprehensive about how my practice in Medicine would shape up or by what time I would be able to practice individually.

My Psoriasis: More of a Psychological Thing?!

Funny Dog Picture Depicting Skincare
PSORIASIS is among the most common skin issues, understood very little and looked at as something that cannot be diagnosed. Yes, this is true to some extent. This condition causes scaly, dry patches that tend to spread rather quickly, and scraping the skin tends to worsen the situation. Psoriasis is essentially a kind of rash that comes on unannounced, without any type of allergen or external entity causing it. However, in my case, I have observed that whenever am too stressed or obsessive thinking takes over, I get these patches. The spots are light maroon, spread near my nose, on either side, above the lips, and sometimes on the chin too. I often call these 'stress rashes'. Starting from the common grounds shared by the nostrils and upper lips they appear in a shape resembling the map of the former Soviet Union, taking days to heal naturally. Do any of you have such a health condition? I am sharing what I have been able to learn via observations across almost an entire decade.

Checklist - do you have the type of psoriasis breakout I am talking about?

- you get this insatiable, uncontrollable urge to scratch in the most demonic manner
- soon after the scalp is scratched, there is reddish, flaky skin on either side of the nose
- sometimes, this patch will become big and make it to the upper lip area
- pinkish patches can last for days, are very dry, and make the skin less pleasant to shave
- it takes days for the patches to heal, and if you scrape it, maybe even weeks
- taking off-the-counter anti-allergics does not help a lot
- these rashes don't develop or go away like a rash brought about by an allergen
- sometimes, there is a crust that you feel like peeling away but that does more damage

- you need to moisturize them in the most sacred manner, rubbing in the Vaseline
- yes, Vaseline is the solution to use, not oils or creams of souffle...none of them work
- this form of psoriasis is somewhat similar to urticaria breakouts
- they can be controlled by some form of anti-allergic medications, i.e. just the spread of it, the patch that has developed is rather immune to it
- the effect of homeopathic drugs is immense if used just when the breakout surfaces
- breakouts can be stimulated by stress or by using an alternative/untested cosmetic product
- icing is not a big help and you might want to stay away from any significant source of heat
- shaving at this time is not a good idea, in fact, it is not recommended at all
- coconut oil can alleviate the symptoms but you got to rub it in twice or thrice a day but I think this can bring about a bit of acne too, and this is why I said, use vaseline instead
- keep away any perfumed or heavily fragranced lotion or cream as this can cause more inflammation

Workout Disasters - Reality over Mind over Pain - am I losing to chimps?

Funny Chimpanzee Image
I read this during a recent bout of some late-night reading. This is about chimps being stronger than humans, pound for pound and that too even if the human involved in the comparison is well built, not the obese types we usually come across. This means that if I met a docile looking chimpanzee, not the huge King Kong sorts gorilla, I would still be weaker than the big monkey creature!! The study was actually about finding more about the similarities between chimps and us.

Just some quick eye-shut time to reconnect with yourself

You must have read a lot about the concept of power napping and how the shortest periods of relaxation can cleanse the mind of overwhelming thoughts. I am using the same thing in the most micro fashion – using some eye-shut time to ensure you have a more uncluttered mind. I do this at the desk, in the car and even when taking a bath. Just shut your eyes and banish all thoughts. Try to concentrate on a facial muscle, i.e. on your face. I tend to focus on the nose bridge, clutching the skin around it. This is not about many minutes but a handful of seconds. You can do this repeatedly, like a breath hold & go exercise that is found in many meditation prep programs. For me, concentrating with my eyes closed is almost impossible. I tend to hop to what happens next scenarios a bit too often.

Cancer: It Scares Me and Honestly, You Should be Worried Too!

Image from Cancer Day Blog
Cancer Seems Like a Contemporary Lifestyle Curse
I just cannot get it out of my head. A few days ago it was World Cancer Day February 4th and the media was abuzz with celebrities who had fought back the dreaded condition. I must say that survivors like Rina Dhaka need to speak-up more about how cancer can be managed with emotional and medical support. It seems that proper care combined with contemporary standards in medical care can ensure that you don't lose your life or end-up in a where every day seems like inching closer towards the final stage where the props are in bad taste, the story of your life has gone awry and the support cast members are waiting for God’s gates to accept you. Cancer, as a health problem that finds new ways to invade the lives of people around us, has engaged a lot of critical attention lately. It also happens to be one of my deep-seated fears.

We know about Coffee & Conversations to Stay Awake…what else?

Making Your Coffee Work Extra Hard for You
Saw this trending editorial piece with some coffee hacks running in the title case and my first impressions were this is another coffee or caffeine related write-up that is going to preach about how to manage your daily intake. I had done a small piece on using coffee as a workplace companion but the Dailyburn.com article talks about various coffee combinations that can make it more effective. The one about adding protein powder makes a lot of sense. Caffeine when combined with protein is a beautiful energy-upping and calorie-busting solutions along with the protein ensuring your muscles are well fed. Coffee napping is not something you would find mentioned anywhere else.

Wellness Trending: can you realign your cells for better performance?

Image of Cellular Healing Methods Blog
Click to Understand this a bit better...
A few minutes on this open diary about my life and you will realize that words like “anxiety” seem to be found with amazing regularity. This issue has been at the epicenter of my health battles, each time morphing into something new and this is when I started Googling about “holistic wellness”. The search has been slow and I came across some very unconventional therapies that are trending these days, one such being Cellular Healing – something that tries to treat you at the most basic level, i.e. cellular balance. No matter how healthy or upset your physical and mental health seems, overall wellness cannot be attained unless all cells are functioning in perfect harmony – this is the concept that fuels cellular healing. A couple of products that promise to attain this level of wellness includes aroma-diffusers that tend to cleanse the aura and bio-frequency sprays that boost better cellular arrangement. Does it make sense?

"Don't Dad Me" - Martin Crane is No More! RIP Friend

Image Father of Kelsey Grammer in Frasier
This was when Star World was just getting serious about serving the Indian audience content that had some degree of intellectualness - Kelsey Grammer addressed this with Frasier. The character was someone who would speak with a real accent, and never let you feel that he was merely reciting the lines. The props were very real, the studio production aura wasn’t there and the personas who fueled Frasier’s interactions had one very special person – his dad, played by actor John Mahoney. Now into his retirement years, with a hyperactive dog who always needed attention, Mahoney’s on-screen avatar was rather matured, living with his son and trying to soak-up some good moments in his grey years.

Gravity Blanket For Folks Who Are Not Sleepy Enough

Sleeping issues and insomnia are common and so are sleep remedies. There is an increasing rush towards off-the-counter medications that promise to put you to sleep…to the extent that you wake-up the next day! However, the Gravity Blanket is comprehensively a non-medicated sleeping aid. It has been something special, unlike insomnia solutions that come with plugged-in devices. However, the promise is a bit of an overkill. For starters, it does not seem like that compression or the hug-like treatment can help everyone sleep. It seems rather expensive too. The closest I can get to is the massaging action that helps folks realize. From anxiety to stress and physical exertion, any therapy that involves rubbing and pressing the body can be a bit therapeutic. Is the gravity blanket destined to fail? NO. There are so many desperate souls out there searching for a good nap that they won’t be satisfied unless they have tried it. This is not supposedly addictive and hence, will be tried by folks coming-off anti-anxiety and sleep-inducing prescription drugs. Not much science here unless the makers can explain…

Still Stuck on Shahid Being Too Lean in Padmavati? Relax, HE owned it!

Not sure if this can be an unbiased discussion. The reason lies in everyone thinking about body-types rather differently, especially when they are spread on a canvas as huge as Padmavati. Recently, a couple of guys shared their opinion about the movie, saying that while everyone in Padmavati looked rather aptly fitted into the role, Shahid had missed a trick by not bulking-up. I say NO to this observation. There is no historical documentation that the Rajput dynasty kings and princes were about six-packs abs and massive shoulders. Padmavati remains a movie, a celluloid version of a story that takes cues from history but weaves a plot based on creative direction, not sticking to every aspect of the heritage that forms its backgrounds. The characters are rightfully glorified.

Some people are calling it a life hack idea but it seems outright outrageous. There is talk about how the hyper-hyper-hypochondriacs, those with a life-term record of catching infections from the most innocuous causes might be shaking elbows rather than rubbing cheeks or shaking hands. Yes, the world could elbow you towards new social skills that insist that the viral-overwhelmed, contamination-heavy hands are kept at a distance and the more clothed, the lesser infected elbows are now transformed into a means of socially greeting each other. This Emily Price discussion might make people think that some germophobic could conjure something so extreme but the fact remains that we are living in an era where hand sanitizers are as important as sanitary pads,

I have a habit of scouting the web for interesting food stories [this link has some of NY's best from 2017]. Lately, I have been following baking a lot, ever since me and Moha started cooking together. However, we are at a nascent stage and nothing comes close to the type of classic baked recipes at this website. The ingredients are always so pure and there is no commercialization of the cause. If you have a genuine love for food, you will spend time in reading through the meticulous preparations. Not gone through their entire set of classic recipes but it seems the crusts are always red-baked, there is always some honey and butter & you might come across some easy hacks like using digestive biscuits to get the required texture without laboring much! This recipe is about a cream pie. I have always said that baked, contrasting combinations that use a bit of salt are always the best. You have salted caramel here and though I will never get to taste this heavenly creation, I can sense the awesomeness of it…

Around the time that Valentine’s Day blogs were getting viral, there was this cute little entry about Chyawanprash Pecan Butter Bites - for the uninitiated, this is rather strange, almost shocking for folks who know something about ancient Indian medicine stream called Ayurveda. Chyawanprash is essentially a mind and body tonic, an immunity booster that can be consumed by people of all ages. However, using it for something as good as pecan bites is beyond our imagination. The blog talks about how a crisp chocolate coating is used to blend the goodness of Chyawanprash with traditional European recipes. Not sure many people who have tasted Chyawanprash would turn-up to taste these goodies but the idea sounds very healthy-licious-ly doable.

This is for folks who love the richness of peanut butter and want to have it with chocolate, in a form that is bake-able and comes with easy DIY factor. The most difficult bit seems when you have to make the dough and fill it. This is where some kitchen expertise matters. The baking though is without any extra load of greasing - something I appreciate. However, I would add some more bitterness to the mix, like more cocoa content dark chocolate and some walnuts too - the pungency of aged walnuts creates more lovable contrasts...again, I always advocate food ingredients that are more of the opposites-attract state rather than those that complement each other.

For the Love of Impact Mints, Actually the Box…OK!! It Is Just A Short Review!

Image of Impact Mint Original Pack Strawberry Flavor
Flavor? Strawberry but Not Bothered About It!
I am a bit of spontaneous spender, picking-up things for their aesthetics first and function later. This has contributed to a ton of stuff that has little practical use but once seemed irresistible. This lethal habit surfaced again when visiting the Pinnacle Mall, Dwarka. The weed after the Republic Day weekend was slow, somewhat lazy.

We decided to test new shopping locales and across the rather well-designed mall that has 12 levels along with Daily Delite outlet on the ground floor. This is where, at the cash counter, I spotted this gem of a package – Impact Mints, sitting pretty at the cashier’s desk with other confectionery items that are often used when easy change is not available. I have had this childhood crush on tiny, smallish cases and boxes, even packaging, that looks playful, borderline cute.

Kaliopi has been a regular sharer in the niche of real-life accounts of how people ought to but usually don't react to adverse situations. The plot is never twisted like a Hollywood production and there is nothing too preach here that can irritate you. I have not been a regular at reading what she shares but this particular discussion got to me – most of us are hit by tough situations, not because we are not prepared for them but because we always assume something so drastic can only happen to others in this world. The reality is very different. Your health or finances can spiral out of control within a week. It is like being in an accident though there are no signs of a road mishap. Your mind-body ecosystem tries to fill you with feelings that this is not real, something so horrible could not have happened to someone who has led a largely sin-free life.

When you open the link, it is a bit confusing – is the publishing team talking about composting or making this somewhat exotic preparation? Read a bit further and you realize the conversation is about both. Strangely, green living tips have been combined with cooking in a very organic way. Now that I understand the subject a lot more, seems like the idea is not that bad. Why? Reducing your carbon footprints is a lot more than merely using an electric car. While composting helps to recycle everything that was once green, this lentil and cauliflower combination has a similar appeal – keep it simple, maintain the original flavors. The images are beautiful. The narrative very simple and ideal to be read on your smartphone too. Just understand this – all lentils are not light on the stomach. Some folks, particularly Asians, tend to cook them a lot more. You might want to soften the black lentils to the extent that you digest them without getting gassy. Cauliflower has been artistically served, and the color contrasts on the plate are awesome!

Found this on the web, on Reddit, and it immediately reminded me of school days when we were round the 14-15 wonder years and skincare tips came from our sisters. This particular wipe was great when I started excreting sebum from the T zone and my sister used to say I had enough face oil to deep-fry chicken! The jokes apart, we didn’t have the luxury of online wisdom back then. Pimples were more about being a feminine thing while growing-up boys could afford horrible skin, scarred by new, upcoming, and ancestral acne. These wipes is the maximum I got as help, from my sister, who would provide them at a premium. Combined with her Stephen King like tone about how acne could turn my life upside down, this sounded pretty serious.

Do Desktop Background Images/Quotes Help You Get Through the Day?

Funny Bulldog Desktop Wallpaper
My current desktop is foolishly childish!
This question came to my mind when I was reading through an article about maintaining positivity at the workplace. This was another lifestyle blog, whose name I cannot remember now, in the cesspool of daily online publications that provide tips and preach about how to live a healthier life. However, there was this bit about animated, optimism-inducing text and images that should be present in all locations where you fight your most challenging moments of the day. At that moment, I hit Windows D and realize that my desktop was rather banal.
