This must be the simplest, somewhat savage, gym advice you have recently come across online – you need to push yourself harder at the gym for making sizable gains even if it seems that you are moving away from the rationale of making your body grow or making it stronger in a more scientific way. Does that mean you abandon safety? NO. This does mean you walk within the realms of reason-ability but push yourself every now and then to spurt the gains? YES!
What started as a means to express my observations when riding the Delhi Metro, is now about maintaining a not-so-personal diary about the "everyday" - Life! Expect a lot of opinions, a love for the unusual, and the tendency to blog about things that don't seem to matter much...on-the-go, unfiltered and with bias.

When Couple Therapy means getting along with a Man & Wife you cannot connect with!
It is a fair assessment that I have led a socially handicapped life. Two things contributed to this. Firstly, there was no social media during my growing years. Secondly, I was weirdly wired-out when it came to inter-personal communication. While these demerits have been identified and dealt with to a large extent, some demons can never be hidden forever. There are days when I am still fazed by the prospect of meeting people, especially those whom I don’t know at all. As a part of our couple socializing endeavors, we have had some success in getting acquainted with couples or half-couples who otherwise would have remained total strangers to us. However, when that old infection of social setbacks resurfaces, I find it hard, almost impossible to make small talk.
Night-outs Should Be Exploring Without Scheduling | Planners, Stay Away!
I realized this when one of my colleagues was discussing about a night-out with her gang of girls. Apparently it was someone’s birthday in the group and the night-out was supposed to be about visiting a bakery, getting handmade chocolates and then arriving at a dining destination that was safely wrapped with pre-booked seats and a great deal on snacks and drinks. Even the cab routes were confirmed so that everybody could meet-up in time for the day’s itinerary.

How 'Leaving for a typical Work-day' can impact the quality of Life...do it better!
There is something very abjectly defeatist about the phrase 'leaving for work'
It seems as if you are leaving the holy grail of your home to someplace that will devour you. Further, most
people use this phrase and their morning regimen in the most destructive manner
whereas the reality is that how you psyche up yourself when starting the daily
routine has a far-reaching effect, affecting nearly everything, including your
mindset, affecting the energy you carry back home and how miserable or
energetic you will be during the workday.
While people have published long articles and editorials about how to start your day, things to do when you wake up and how to manage your morning better, little has been said about the smallest things that can seriously dent a working day morning. My decade of committing horrible
mistakes and finding out the truth at my own expense has made me make some
conclusions:

Often losing to sugar cravings? DIY Preparation & 4 Strategies that Actually Help
There is little defense you can muster when sweet tooth cravings hit you hard - this is a universal truth and you are no different. However, you need some manage-it strategy because unsympathetic sugar consumption is the reason to many type of lifestyle conditions, both acute and chronic. This discussion takes a step in this direction, i.e. sharing some tips of redeeming yourself with more self-control to fight away infectiously acute sugar cravings. My personal craving management tools include:
- Position Yourself, Give-in, Only to Fight Back
Keep something sweet handy in the drawer, dashboard or office bag. You never know when the sugar rush can get as important as air or water. You need your supplies. You have to understand that denial at the first stage is not the best move. You have to give-in but then cheat yourself out of it, away from it, towards a better, bigger vantage point.
Beyond the Clouds: where else do you see hidden faces, expressions?
Everyone seems to have some experience in the niche of observing facial expressions, forms and shapes in the clouds. However, that is not the only place in our immediate surroundings that provides plenty of fodder for such undefined exercises. I have found some of the most beautiful shapes, including the face of a frowning bear, a small hut, and the masked face of a big, brawny Batman in unusual places like:
Case of DIY Warriors: Some Men Can Afford to be Anybody’s Nemesis!
Not all of us can claim that our present lifestyle, academic progress, workplace achievements, relationship status, reputation of being a good sibling or a son and the newest business venture has been a totally independent journey. Most of us have taken the liberty to extract that extra effort from someone else, ring-in a few favors or managed to polish some egos to push our life’s cart. However, this is not the case with a truly self-made man. His credentials are entirely different. He wears the scars of failed attempts with upmarket pride. Even the manner in which he orders food has this air of conviction, as if he owns the moment, as if not tending to him is breaking a social law. It seems that with time, God has been arm-twisted into helping him along the way, bowing to his will.
Voyeuristic Decadence: What if you could crap like Richard Branson?

This is not about the billionaire guru’s bowel movement, the consistency or the regularity of it or his constipation battles. This was during a small marathon of breezing through lifestyle channels and TV shows that I have begun to hate because they are potentially really good but never seem to be aired during a time of the day when I can watch them along with the rest of the world. I caught a few minutes of catching-up with a celebrity type of program that featured Richard Branson. This show would take you deep into his private island paradise. Turns out that the Virgin head owns a toilet seat that is like a throne with a personal island view and the serenity that people like me don’t even know about. This personal and sacred toilet seat happens to be situated in such a way that Richard Branson can view untamed oceans for miles without any ship or commercial vessel. The Necker Island is like a vacation pad for the billionaire. I was just thinking what it would be like to take a crap like this guy.
