Find how the typewriter is not another technologically defunct memory...this old dog punches back!

Image old typewriter learning for bloggers
I believe everyone can find their individual reason to love the typewriter,
You have to try it more than once to find yours to start the love affair!
There is a reason why the more classic generation of bodybuilders and hardcore gym enthusiasts swear by the golden exercises –  if you cannot squat, deadlift or bench-press until you have exhausted every joint and ligament, you are not likely to achieve the aesthetic or power gains. The somewhat similar psychology applies to using the typewriter. It is rudimentary as compared to the contemporary keyboard. Trusting forearm credentials of the user and with high morals of demanding more practice hours from you, the typewriter is unapologetic about its archaic form. I had a very unusual interest in typewriters at one point of time. This was not academic or due to a sadist preference of testing myself. The attractiveness was purely due to the contrast of technology, the silhouette very retro, the vibes aged like wine, and then this aura of silence, as if the typewriter was like some monk challenging you to break his/its peace of mind.

Guilt Pangs are OK but Don't Get Wishful about Reducing Your Guilt Footprints

carbon footprints versus guilty feeling footprints
There will always be mistakes you wish you didn't make. There will always be moments of could-have-done-better. A part of you will always yearn to go back and change some actions that seem utterly stupid today. These are your Guilt Footprints - they are human, real and in a part of every person's mind or heart. Can you delete them in totality? NO, unless you happen to be as egoistical as Vincent McMahon and have surging testicular fortitude levels. For most of us, these thoughts are like phlegm. Just when you think you have had enough, it comes back. Just when you think that this season you will not catch it, it shows-up in your sinuses. However, unlike phlegm, Guilty Feelings are nothing to be ashamed about.

Holiday Plans 2018 Chamba Bartol Himachal
It is that time of the year when I have the confidence to let go of my self-imposed rules, ready to break away from the overdose of official duties, and plan a small break with my wife. This time, we have Chamba, in Himachal, in mind. Needed very little persuasion about the choice of place. Chamba has everything you need if you want basic food, remote green spreads, and hot tea throughout the day. This is what our priorities happen to be and we have booked a homestay. Again, booking a hotel never crossed our minds. We don't want a front-office to wake us up. We don't want cable TV programs competing for attention. This is also about resting my overworked immune system, if there is any actually, and getting better from the 3-week long bout of flu & related symptoms. Yes, the image talks about beaches and tan lines but I found it very contextual when Googling...will keep sharing more updates.

Does Wind-Cutting Performance Say Anything About Your Car? KUV Mahindra 2016 Versus Old Swift Maruti 2005

comparing KUV100 vs Maruti Swift
It has been more than 7K kms and by now, I feel rather assured about the handling of my KUV100. Like I said in my earlier discussion, you need to allow the SUV-ish, compact KUV100 grow on you. The dynamics are not as sorted as that of an i20 but once you settle-in, the feeling is liberating. The KUV100 rushes like no other vehicle priced in the category. The acceleration is a bit too much for first-time owners but a few months onwards, you know how to maneuver the little ugly beast - my bitch is in Dark Red Color. Now about the real topic here – there is a feeling that I cannot properly explain when rushing through the flyovers.

I believe Casanova had great oral skills...I mean, Conversational!

discussion partners talk for better sex
What is it exactly that people seek when visiting online discussions about sexual health? Some sense of closure? The assurance that their problem is shared by millions around the world or just that what they wanted to talk about with their partner has now been published online and now, it is much easier to read? Yeah, reading about sexual performance or sexual health might be good but if you are using it to supplement the real thing that you and your partner should be having, you are headed towards Pain City - Where Sex is Never Good Enough! I have been a slow starter. Very laidback and hesitant when it comes to intimacy.

Restart Life, Keep it Simple they Say but who PAYs?

countryside simple lifestyle costs high
There is a lot of noise on lifestyle TV shows and editorials online about living a really simple life - most of them have idyllic settings with beach-front properties that seem slightly rustic, and highly retro. However, a question comes to mind. Shifting from a metropolitan to a countryside, complete with signing out of your regular job, starting a young family and ensuring the accommodation is actually as good as what the images suggest needs some serious money. Who is going to pay for this? Why do these folks say that living on a farm or starting your organic produce setup is easy?  There is nothing easy about leaving the entire ecosystem that you were born into, were nourished within, happened to flourish in for some years before things started falling apart and then, you decided to change the entire landscape.

Heart of the Matter vs what is the matter with your heart?

image depicts heart shape cardiac health
This must have come to your attention too but perhaps, I am the only who is blogging about it - if you look around, no matter what type of heart-related topic we are talking about, whether it is a cardiac disease or myocardial infarction, whether it is an ambulance stating that its owner happens to be a cardiology specialist or the logo of a healthcare facility that specializes in cardiac healthcare, it seems that all pictorials of anything that is cardiac, happens to have the heart pictured in its Valentine-type shape. Why? Beats me!

@Rugby Players: doesn’t it hurt to wear it so tight? For that matter, T20 stars too!

opinion extra tight clothes body hug apparel
I have had this question run randomly through my head earlier too. This was when watching one of the many T20 leagues in Australia. For some reason, it seemed that cricketing gear had become too tight for 20-something people to fit-in while everyone seemed so muscular, as if biceps are responsible for bowling quick

Later, when I changed to other sports channels, there were some rugby matches being broadcast and the story was very similar here but with some major differences—the RBS is among the most loyal of ruby tournament sponsors. I was watching an RBS tournament featuring England and France. I have always adored the physique of these guys. They are built like warriors. It seems like they are pounding each other all the time or the green ground beneath them. The scars on their faces seem so genuine, almost like embellishments for the trade that employs them.

Fatherhood Bytes for People who Go Awww on Men-holding-Babies Images

image father baby fatherhood thoughtsI honestly feel that the world is intentionally insensitive towards fatherhood. Parenting is not just about being protective about your kid, finding your kid fragile or layering your newborn with more-than-needed layers of insulating covers. Fatherhood is more like a life-long gig. There are no stopovers or breaks. While fathers might be less expressive, they are highly prone to carrying the guilt of how badly they performed as sons to their families. While fathers might seem indifferent towards kids, they might be worried sick about how they can provision for growing-up kids. Fathers who seem insensitive to share daily after-school feedback from kids might be neck-deep in ensuring there is sufficient monetary reservoirs during times of unemployment.

About to wrap-up work? Don't Just Rush / Slide Out!

call it a day with a smile sign out manners
Make Your Presence Felt when you Exit / Enter Your Workplace
I have always wondered if all the fancy-ass professional management courses tell young adults anything about how to end their day - there are things you should be doing when you are on the verge of signing-out. Some ideas, from fatal observations, at the top of my head include:

- Never ask if you can leave: you should have your day sorted. You should know if you have completed your chores for the day and when you have, you ought to know, so don't ask. Be sure about your work and if you are not, you are not worthy of being in the team
