Being a Kapoor myself, I cannot help but smile every time people talk about the Kapoor Khandaan, and more particularly, about the recent, most talked-about entrant, Ranbir Kapoor. However, I have one grudge against the guy – he just doesn’t seem to eat right. What else could be making him look so under-weight, almost malnutritioned? It is against the Kapoor legacy not to eat, actually not to overeat, have a double chin and puffy cheeks. On a more serious note, I believe that Ranbir Kapoor looked much better when he made his debut. He was carrying some serious muscle mass and looked younger, fresher and more like a leading actor. Right now, just like his movie career, Ranbir's body seems confused. There is a definite inclination towards being lean but sometimes, this silhouette, does not justify the role.

Valentine's Day Thoughts: Proposing with an emphasis on making it big?
It is February 14 in 2018 and it seems the Valentine Fever is not as contagious as it has been over the years. Also, found one of my oldest online journals regarding proposing to a girl. Read this and let me know what do you think?
Just read this in the daily today [Feb 14, 2014] – people are booking entire movie halls, screening of new releases at premium rates to get their proposal published on the big screen. It seems that the age of getting the proposal printed on hoardings or placing a hidden Hallmark card popping the big question is quite passe. The emphasis now seems to be on creating a bigger impact, making it a memorable moment and money is not the primary consideration.

Easy Fixes: Maybe You Need More Enzymes
Seems like yesterday when I tried Digiplex tablets for the first time - an ageing med that not many people know about and those who do, usually buy it for their grand-dads. Now, after many years of playing around with enzymes, I can confidently say that I can manage them with amazing accuracy!
Digestive Complex Tablets are Easy to Find
Here, I talk about some of the everyday health issues like recurring phases of indigestion. Contaminated environments are producing compromised foods and we don’t have too many options on the horizon. However, we can ensure that we digest better and extract the maximum nutrition from our daily meals. Peek into my experience of dealing with digestion-related issues without going overboard with medications…From the moment food enters our mouth to the phase where it is digested in the intestines, the body uses enzymes for processing food.Muscle Gain and Testosterone: Is the Connect Real? Confession Time – Updated on February 13th, 2018
While driving to the office today, I heard this discussion on one of the FM channels – apparently, there is a video clip of a girl being misbehaved with that is grabbing attention across Delhi. I have not seen the clip and don't want to – honestly, is there anything shocking about it? From what I have seen, people in the city are not ready to take up the cause of watching out for each other. The confession is about me too not intervening when the moment called for it. This was somewhere in 2005 – 06. I had just boarded the public transport bus and a seemingly drunk guy was arguing with a lady. There were about 14 – 15 more passengers aboard but none of us intervened when things got more graphic, the altercation escalated into something I hadn’t expected at all. I confess to being a coward at that moment, not standing up for a lady who was obviously the victim there. The conductor at that time takes the cake for re-assuring that people in the city just don't bother to help anyone, his words being “…jab dikh gaya thaa kee yeh aadmee ney pee rakhee hai toh alag baith jaatee”.

Parkinson’s: When Someone in Your Family Has It
Yes, it is a serious health condition and there are no cures for it but believe me living with a family member with Parkinson’s is possible. I am not someone who preaches a lot of stuff. I have learned my lessons the hard way. I have a long history of trial and error, repeating the mistakes and eventually realizing what actually works. My mother has Parkinson’s for the last three years. Yes, at times, things get too difficult, particularly now that she has suffered a hip fracture. However, I have channeled my energy towards helping her recover and manage her condition rather than waste time searching for answers like “WHY God did this to us?”…what has happened cannot be undone, so I might as well get on with it. Don’t Plan Life, Just a Week Can Do!

Plan Shorter. Plan Simpler. Plan the Doable |
I have come across lots of blogs about planning your life. However, my success with this strategy is abysmally low. I am not saying that planning your life is a bad choice but to me, it seems like something that consumes too much time and energy and doesn’t serve the purpose. Some people say that they live in the moment. Some choose to structure their entire life in blocks of what they should do and achieve. I believe that the better approach is somewhere in between—planning your life but not more than a week ahead. I had been a chronic life planner all along. Even when I was in school, I was apprehensive about how my practice in Medicine would shape up or by what time I would be able to practice individually.
